Well, it seems like Jennie also used her fashion to showcase a good cause and reveal her true personality. In her most recent Instagram post, Jennie looked flawless as expected and her outfit also caught the attention of fans.

In particular, the idol was wearing a white top with a laced back and simple embellishments. It was truly stylish and would’ve even stood out in a crowd full of over-the-top fashion, such as those attending Coachella.

Well, it seems like it’s more than just a pretty top. As expected, nothing that Jennie ever wears looks cheap, and this top is no exception. The top itself is called Tea Towel Apron Top from Marine Serre and costs $550 USD.

Marine Serre is a French luxury brand created by a young designer of the same name who used to work at Balenciaga. However, it wasn’t the price tag that caught the attention of netizens but the source of the top.

According to the website, the brand prides itself on being sustainable, and the main message of the company is to reuse material to ensure that there is no waste.

Circularity, for us is the ability to recycle, and to “regenerate” materials that already exist, defining our Modus Operandi in reducing waste by reintegrating the end-of-life products into a cyclical process that ensure transparency and adaptability of our resources.

In particular, all of the items are created from upcycled and recycled material. It means that the name of Jennie’s top is taken literally as it was created from a tea towel and made into something beautiful that could easily be seen on the best catwalks in the world.

It shouldn’t be surprising that Jennie’s outfits reflect the desire to make a change in the world. The BLACKPINK members are ambassadors for the United Nations SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).

They even made a speech on YouTube promoting ways to help the climate crisis, with Rosé even saying, “We must unite and work towards this collective goal of saving the earth.”
